Allergy Awareness Information
Pine Ridge S.S. is an Allergy Awareness Zone.
Safety of students, staff, and visitors is always our number one concern. Life threatening allergies are present with both staff and students in our building. Allergies identified by our staff and students include: perfumes and colognes, nuts and nut products, fish, eggs, beans, peas, and pineapple. Please honour the needs of those on staff and the needs of our students when packing lunches from your home. Again, these are life threatening allergies. While at school, food is only to be consumed in the cafeterias. Anyone with food allergies that prohibit them from eating in the cafeterias should identify themselves to a vice-principal and we will make alternative arrangements for you.
